Search option is not working in my pc(even in regedit). I am unable to locate my boot.ini file.But my system is working properly
This problem happens only if some system file (.dll or executable) is missing....try some of the following steps if none these works then the only possible solution is reinstall or repair the OS....
1). Check the whole system using a good antispyware.
2). Run Scandisk and check for system errors.
3). Open Windows\inf hidden folder. Right click on the srchasst.inf file and select Install. U will require XP CD for this purpose.

The microsoft office files passwords are not stored in the registry....they are stored in that particular file which is locked....because if u take one file from one system to other the registry changes but the file still opens after providing the correct password.
As far as windows login password is concerned u will not be able to access it while running windows...in regedit search for SAM this is the key where the passowrd is stored in hash form
There are two more copies of SAM available one in Windows/system32/config and other in Windows/repair

my prob is that when i type regedit in my run command all i get is a dialog box which shows:"registry edit has been disabled by ur administrator"
I got a new laptop which has Vista as the operating system. When I tried logging into my rediff account the page would just not load... However I tried logging in to orkut, yahoo, hotmail, gmail, sify and I was successful.
What could be this Rediff- Vista problem??

Your admin must have disabled the registry. In order to gain access to the registry u must have admin password.

Never reveal ur banking information to anyone...every company which pays for a contest or anything for that matter never requires ur banking a/c number, etc......they only need ur name and posting address.........they just prepare an a/c payee check on ur name and send it to the postal adress mentioned.....

my friend has given a password which locks the os.just after the window boots it asks for the password.it is not the paassword which is asked when we try to log is as any user or admin nor is it the password of bios.he refuses me to say how he did it and ask me to byapass that. can u say how can this type of password is given to lock the os? or is there any way to bypass it?help.

In order to bypass the password u must know the which software is stopping u from entering the OS.
Go to Run > type msconfig.....
See what all items are there in the startup (i.e what items start with windows)
After getting the name of the software search for it in windows registry.....and try to crack the password as u did in Hacking Test 2

In order to see the password behind asterisk u need a software....there are many available free of cost .... just search for "behind asterisk" or "asterisk logger", etc in google and torrents.........

shows a message "u r connected to tracker and peers ,but u don't hv any remote connection,if tis occurs for a long time u'll hv a NAT problem"
before some days i did nt hv tis prob.due to tis prob i m unable to get the download speed i used to get before,it has reduced......
